Senior Developer / Architect

As a result of projected growth through Asia, we are currently looking for a strong .NET / C# Developer, whose key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with an onsite team, developing and implementing enhancements and added functionality to the Serko range of products
• Liaising closely with the Development Manager and communicating ideas and requirements to the development team
• Participating in the architecture meetings
• Troubleshooting and problem solving

Other required skills:

• The ability to make decisions
• Testing
• Debugging
• Solving technical issues
• Ability to work in a small team independently or collectively
• High level of attention to detail with a focus on the UI experience
• Fluent English literacy skills for communication with clients, stakeholders and the internal team

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent technical skills in C#, VB, ASP.net, .Net 3.5/4.0, SQL Server, Javascript, HTML & XSL
• The ideal candidate will have a background in travel
• Any additional experience with Silverlight 2 or greater, WCF, Ants profiler, Watin, nUnit, SQL Server Analysis Services 2005/2008 will be highly regarded

It goes without saying that you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to excellence and proactive attitude to be a key member of the team, providing development services at the highest possible standard. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years experience in the ICT industry.

There is also an opportunity to move into the mobile (Android/iPhone/Windows Phone) space for the right applicant.

Salary package is flexible based on the level of experience of the successful applicant.

Therefore, if you are an IT Graduate, OR, have relevant Travel Industry knowledge along with testing experience and want to advance in the IT world this is your opportunity.

Tasks will include:

• Analysis of requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications and other related documentation in order to prepare test plans, test cases and external test documentation
• Debate, influence and co-operate with internal contacts, to deliver high quality products and solutions to the market
• Adherence to software best practices for testing methodology and SDLC
• Test execution, logging of issues and tracking through to resolution
• Improving test and QA standards and processes

Ideally you should have:
