Auckland firm, Interactive Technologies, is a finalist in
the fifth annual Microsoft Certified Partner Awards after
winning the Microsoft Award for e-commerce in the Asia-Pacific
region for its Serko Online travel package.
Serko Online enables companies to manage their travel needs
and presents real-time feedback on bookings and managerial
information. It gives companies the tools to organise travel
efficiently and minimise travel expenditure.
Serko Online will represent the Asia-Pacific region in the
e-commerce category at the Microsoft Awards. Award finalists
will be honoured at Microsoft's Fusion 2002 partner event in
Los Angeles from July 12 to 15, with the worldwide winner in
each of nine award categories announced on July 12.
Interactive Technologies is the first New Zealand
company to win the Asia-Pacific e-commerce category
award. The award follows Interactive Technologies winning the
Microsoft Trans-tasman award for its .NET Web Service (March
2002). The company is also a Computerworld Excellence finalist
for the Business-to-Business category awards which will be
held on June 28. |
